Guests will enjoy an array of beverages and locally provided small bites during the formal program, featuring remarks from Aaron Myers, BDA Executive Director, and John Michael Kennedy, BDA Board Chair; the presentation of the 2026 Dr. Michael Shannon Dance Champion Awards; and performances by local dance artists honoring the legacies of this year’s Dance Champions. The evening will also celebrate the past, present, and future of dance alongside fellow pioneers, leaders, and past honorees, while supporting BDA’s future through ticket purchases, guest invitations, and additional donations to fund the ongoing 7074 Initiative.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
If commuting via the MBTA, the closest subway stop is Broadway (Red Line). This stop is a 10-12 minute walk to the BLO entrance, or check the nearest bus lines (7, 9, 11, and 47.)   

PARKING
City of Boston Metered parking is available in the area and will be free of charge since the event falls on a Sunday.  We also recommend parking at the Channel Center Garage at 116 West First Street.
